Joshua Gan is deeply passionate about people, discovering and developing potential, and building the capacity to do so. With the initial career dream of being a General Manager with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Joshua took a slight detour into the higher education domain after graduation from university, and has not looked back since.

Joshua Gan was appointed Regional Director, Asia-Pacific of EHL Group in September 2017. He is responsible for the group’s presence in Asia-Pacific, overseeing Communications, Marketing, Admissions and Alumni and Industry Relations, leading a delocalized team of 14 across the region. Joshua Gan was concurrently Managing Director ad interim of EHL Campus (Singapore) between January and September 2020, and is part of the project team for the conceptualization and launch of EHL Group’s first overseas campus in Singapore.

Joshua set up Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne's first overseas office in Singapore in June 2015 as Regional Manager, Asia-Pacific. Prior to moving to the Singapore office Joshua held the position of EHL Admissions Officer and was responsible for student recruitment in Asia-Pacific, a position which he occupied since August 2013, based in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Joshua is a graduate of the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne’s Bachelor of Science in International Hospitality Management program, graduating in July 2013 with honors. He was also presented the EHL Spirit award.
