Josh Builder is the CTO at Rent the Runway, a fashion company with a technology soul that is disrupting the way women get dressed. In his role he oversees all aspects of the company’s technology strategy, including design, product management, engineering, and retail systems, translating business growth into workable technology solutions that scale both technically and operationally.

Previously, Builder was the CTO at Soul Cycle, a fitness company that is reinventing indoor cycling, where he led a cross functional team and oversaw the company’s technology strategy. Prior to this role, he was the CTO at The Orchard, a pioneering music, video and film distribution and technology company. He also ran the company's top-ranked Multi Channel Network.

After graduating with a BS in Information Systems & Economics from Carnegie Mellon, Josh launched a music website, Loose Records, which covered live music in 6 cities, and his own record label, North Street Records. He now serves as an advisor and board member of startups and growth oriented companies across a variety of industries.
