Jose leads external outreach efforts and helps with recruitment for all programs at the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI). Prior to LACI, Jose served as Deputy District Director to Congresswoman Barbara Lee where he advised her on issues related to transportation, housing, foreign affairs, and economic development. He also worked with the Greenlining Institute where he published a research brief that influenced the City of Los Angeles to change its local election dates to coincide with statewide elections. Jose earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley and his M.B.A. from the Lorry I. Lokey Graduate School of Business at Mills College.
