Managing Director, Techstars Sports Accelerator

New York City

Managing Director of the Techstars Sports Accelerator, which my friend Andrew Hippert and I launched in 2019. We invest $120K/company in 10 sports startups every year, connect them with our 200+ mentors and partners who are leaders in the space, and provide resources and support throughout their journey 🙏

Before the accelerator, co-CEO of DRAFT (Draft.com or DRAFT in the app & play store), a venture-backed startup in the daily fantasy sports space which my friend Jeremy Levine and I ran together. We sold DRAFT in May, 2017 for $48M to Paddy Power Betfair, the publicly traded leader in online gaming. I'm really proud of our talented team and the fun games we built for passionate sports fans 🥳

Before DRAFT, Founder and CEO (now Chairman) of CoachUp. Thanks to my friends and co-founders Arian Radmand and Gabe Durazo, we raised $14M in venture-capital, built the category leading company, were fortunate to partner with 2X NBA Champion & MVP Stephen Curry as our lead spokesman, and made the Inc 5000 list in 2018, 6 years after founding the company. We coach up thousands of athletes every week 💪

Managing Partner @ Founders First, an Angel Fund and Syndicate I launched and run with my partner Jeremy Levine, with 100+ investments since 2012, now deploying ~$5M/year. 💸

Former Pro Basketball player @ Hapoel Jerusalem and former Pro Basketball team co-owner @ New Zealand Breakers 🏀

Author of "Coaching Up!" (Wiley & Sons, 2016)📚

My co-founders and I have been named Inc 5000, Forbes 30 under 30 and Inc 30 under 30 in America, Boston Business Journal 40 under 40, and finalist for Ernst & Young New England Entrepreneur of the Year🤷‍♂️
