He attended General Assembly's software engineering (then web development) program to make a career change after ten years as a chef. He began his engineering career as a freelance web developer, and then moved into technical account management, followed by software engineering at Hashtag Labs. Now at Amazon, Jon is hoping to give advice and insight into his own pathway as an engineer and career changer.
