Jon Selig coaches business & sales professionals on how to make audiences laugh so they can better connect, engage, and influence. His eyebrows demonstrate a lack of photoshop expertise.
Jon received his BComm & MBA followed by a 12 year career selling technology (mainly for Oracle & an Oracle partner) before his career took a sharp left-turn in 2011, and he started performing stand-up comedy. In that time, he's performed at JFL Zoofest, The Comedy Nest's Young Guns of Comedy, and he's also also appeared in a segment on The Daily Show. He still can't tell you what databases do.
He's the founder of Comedy Abroad, a social enterprise which has helped 8 nonprofits in 3 Latin American countries raise $23K USD, with live English stand-up comedy fundraisers for travellers, expats, & snowbirds.
He's worked with & spoken to sales teams at Zoho, CM Labs, Jellyvision, ProForce Personnel, and founders at incubators like The DMZ & JEDI. He's also spoken at the AAISP Leadership Summit, and to Austin's AAISP chapter. Learn more at jonselig.com.
