Jon Friedman is the co-founder and President of Freight Farms, an agriculture technology company that provides physical and digital solutions for creating local produce ecosystems on a global scale. Jon and his co-founder, Brad McNamara developed the company's flagship product, the Leafy Green Machine, to allow any business to grow a high-volume of fresh produce in any environment regardless of the climate. He is using design thinking to build a better food system and make fresh food locally accessible anywhere on the globe, and he is most excited to make it easier for the world population to live in balance with the planet. Jon studied Industrial Design at Massachusetts College of Art and Design is an alumni of Boston based start-up accelerators; MassChallenge & TechStars. Follow him on twitter, @JonFreightFarms.
