Jomar Perez is a data analyst at Spotify, focusing on cultural insights -- to gain a better understanding of who is listening music, how they listen to music and why. By leveraging Spotify’s treasure trove of data (as well as external data), Jomar works with cross-functional teams to better position Spotify’s brand identity, develop and optimize global marketing campaigns and improve the user’s experience with Spotify. He has worked on several major campaign and initiatives -- Found Them First, Year In Music (2014 & 2015), the Beatles catalog release, among others. A music lover (read: hip hop head) at heart, he believes that leveraging the power and insights of data is key to the future of music.
