Jolene is a Senior Data Scientist working within the Macy’s Supply Chain organization, leading projects related to improving the return on investment in fashion inventory through enhanced pricing and allocation strategies. She is passionate about developing intuitive explanations for how models work, and influencing the organization to adopt analytics into business practices. Before Macy’s, Jolene received her Ph.D. in physical chemistry from MIT, where she performed laser spectroscopy experiments to measure properties of the fluorescent nanoparticles used to generate the color in Samsung’s QLED TVs.
