John Bartlett

John Bartlett is a software product marketer and educator who focuses on helping early stage companies and budding product managers reach their full potential.
Having held executive product management and product marketing roles in companies such as Oracle, Yahoo and Siebel Systems, as well as several VC-funded start-ups, John draws on his experience in consumer, enterprise and mobile markets to bring a unique perspective to the companies that he works with. At General Assembly he leads courses in product management and entrepreneurship.
John lives in San Francisco with his best-selling author wife Allison Hoover Bartlett. In his spare time he plays bass guitar in several local bands or can be found roaming San Francisco's coffee houses in search of the ultimate cup.
