Johannes is the founder of Nomad Cruise, the first conference for digital nomads and entrepreneurs held at sea. He has been digital nomad for over 8 years, working remotely from every corner of the globe. What started off as a passion project, with Johannes running the event solo, has evolved into a highly successful venture with a core team of 9 digital nomads who host 2 conferences each year.
In November 2018, Johannes and his team hosted their biggest ever conference at sea as they crossed the Atlantic from Spain to Brazil with almost 500 digital nomads and entrepreneurs from 41 countries. Nomad Cruise is a popular date on every digital nomad’s calendar as the ethos and atmosphere on board is one of skills and knowledge sharing.
Johannes believes that a community and a dense network of like-minded people is essential and that traveling with a purpose (personal/social/professional) should be the foundation of every move you make.
