Joanne is a San Francisco Bay Area native and is currently the Events Producer for General Assembly San Francisco.
Prior to joining the General Assembly, she specialized in medical oncology reimbursements and research for 12 years. As a side hustle, Joanne produced food and social events for over 10 years.
She is currently involved with Pinayista (formerly Entrepinays Summit), Balay Kreative, Filipino American National Historical Society (FANHS), is an alumna of the Filipino Young Leaders Program (FYLPRO), is Arts & Culture Commissioner for the City of Daly City, and a content and media producer under her own brand JBKollaborations.
Joanne’s goal is to produce meaningful events, products, and experiences that will bring a positive impact to the community.
