James is not conventionally trained – just very experienced. He has been a creative service provider and an award winning commercial photographer in NYC for 29 years.

James has worked for some very iconic brands. To name a few - Scholastic, Marvel Entertainment, Mattel, Fisher Price, Random House, Hearst, Conde Nast & P&G. He has captured content that has appeared globally in major advertising campaigns, been published in over 300 books, shot editorial spreads for many international magazines, shot DM & e Com for many service and product providers. In his words, "it was never work – I loved it too much."

In 2007, James was diagnosed with a retinal disease that required surgery. It ended his career. He wasn’t fired, laid off or down sized. Never the less, he was confronted with re-invention. James is now the Director for CTI-Metropolitan’s New Media Division. A staffing agency headquartered in NYC. His team specializes in Creative Services. Clients include advertising, new media, start ups, branding agencies & Fortune 500’s with creative departments.
