Jim Simpson is a Data Scientist on a DARPA project where he develops unsupervised anomaly detection algorithms at-scale for Cybersecurity. He received a PhD in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University where he developed novel receivers and algorithms for undersea communications. His interests are in deep learning and distributed computing for machine learning.
