Jessi Afshin is a creative director of the fashion blog The Darling Detail, an umbrella brand for fashion based posts targeting the everyday-gal-shopper and faith & encouragement-based content for the modern-day woman.
Through the years, Jessi has cultivated strong partnerships with brands such as UGG, Nordstrom, Teen Vogue, Marie Claire, ULTA and more - after taking her business full time at the age of 22 directly after graduating from the The University of Texas in Fashion Merchandising. After owning a business and employing a team as such a young age; Jessi learned and experienced lots of mistakes and failures; growing and learning through them - in terms of both personal and work success. At age 26, Jessi is now inspiring writer and author, focusing on creating a platform that encourages self-confidence for the modern day girl through affordable and stylish outfits, as well encouraging inner confidence through spiritual and emotional healing through her platform @mydarlingdiary. Jessi has created her own line of products, a subscription, and donation-based community, a video documentary series, and created and cultivated a fashion-based audience looking for everyday tips and fashion buys.
Jessi’s goals overall mission is slowly changing from solely outfit styling and into video production, cultivating online community, encouraging young women to tap in their identity, all the while using fashion as the main vehicle to do so.
When she’s not working, you can find her at a local Austin coffee shop with her puppy; turning off social media, focusing on the present and writing.
