    Jess Fracalossi

Founder and CEO, The Handle Bar Indoor Cycling Studios

    Boston

Jess is founder and CEO of The Handle Bar Indoor Cycling Studios. The Handle Bar has 3 metro Boston locations - Southie, Fenway, and Harvard Sq.

Jess moved to Boston to attend Northeastern University and received a BS in Biology in 2010. Upon graduation, Jess took a job with a startup activewear company and worked with fitness studios in the city to market and sell the clothing. After a few months in the startup fitness industry, Jess caught the entrepreneurial bug and saw an opportunity in indoor cycling. Jess started teaching spin, built a business plan, and raised enough capital to launch her first cycling studio in South Boston in 2013. On the heels of a successful launch in Southie, Jess opened The HB’s 2nd location in Fenway in 2014, and the third in Harvard Square in July of 2015.

Jess is committed to providing a top of the line experience to The HB rider community, and she works to continuously create opportunity for personal and professional growth for her dedicated team.

In April of 2017, Jess launched Handle With Care, a philanthropic arm of the business dedicated to raising awareness on mental health and battling the stigma associated with mental illness.

It is Jess’ belief that there is nothing stronger than the power of positive energy and she hopes to continue bettering the lives of The HB riders and team through honest work, community engagement and a lot of SWEAT.
