Senior CSM, Twilio

Online

My name is Jeri, and I'm a Senior CSM with Twilio's ISV customer success team. I'm also a global co-lead for Twilio's military/veterans ERG, and my husband is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.

What drives me? I connect leaders with the resources they can leverage to grow and thrive. This is my passion, and it's why I love to partner with organizations and individuals who are committed to creating lasting social impact.

Background: I graduated from NYU's Center for Global Affairs in May 2010. In June of the same year, I promptly picked up and moved to Nanjing, China, without knowing a word of Chinese. While I was based in China, I embraced plenty of opportunities to take risks. I started up a small study abroad consulting agency. I organized 2 different TEDx events. And I launched a community-based organization to connect expats and local residents with opportunities to volunteer in the city. Did I mention that I learned how to speak survival Chinese?

In 2014, I made the leap from Nanjing to Los Angeles, excited about the idea of pivoting from international education to tech. Since then, I've continued to partner with government agencies, political campaigns, nonprofits, and more, helping individuals and teams to leverage technology to achieve their goals. In my spare time, thanks to Veterati I volunteer to mentor veterans and military spouses who are in the process of planning their own career pivots. I've also served as a pro bono consultant for nonprofits including Syrian Emergency Task Force and Operation Code. I'm currently a member of the executive board of The Library Project, which raises funds to donate Chinese language STEAM libraries to primary schools in under-served areas of rural China. PS: I enjoy discovering new Chinese/Korean/Thai/Uzbek/etc restaurants in and around NYC, which has been my home since 2015. Thanks to my travel bug, I've wandered around various parts of Cuba, El Salvador, Mexico, India, Spain, Japan, Myanmar, Vietnam, Thailand and Canada. The Montreal Jazz Festival is incredible, by the way. Did I mention that I have 2 rescue dogs at home? They are the greatest.
