Jemma started building bioprinters in her kitchen and moved on to creating fingers for her thesis. She printed in liquid with flow and then got into the Hax accelerator program in China to create a bioprinting startup (Ourobotics). 10 months later she has created a 10 material modular bioprinter that allows users to try out different bioprinting methods.
