Most recently, Jeff Aguero served as Head of Local Marketing and Growth for Square, managing local marketing, sales, partnerships and events nationwide. Before joining Square, Jeff spent five years at Google as Head of Local Marketing, where he oversaw product marketing and acquisition for the company’s suite of local products including Google Places, Local, Maps and Zagat. As part of this work, he also created and managed Google's first field marketing team, which directly reached over 100,000 local business owners across the country. Before the local team, he worked as Product Marketing Manager for the Google.com homepage - managing its content, promotion and growth for over 180 domains globally.
As an avid travel and frequent flyer, between his time at Square and Google, Jeff created Mileage.org - the world's first donation platform for frequent flyer miles and points - which helped non-profits, charities and NGOs to accept and redeem mileage and point donations and significantly reduce their international travel costs.
Jeff graduated with honors from Harvard University.
