Jean is a self-taught software developer and Android enthusiast. After earning two technical masters' degrees in England and working for NASA and Hewlett-Packard, she made the switch to software, and has been hooked ever since. Prior to joining General Assembly, she was at Branch metrics, a successful mobile deeplinking startup in Palo Alto. She now teaches the Android Development Immersive program at GA SF. Jean likes to spend her free time skydiving, rock climbing, BASE jumping, reading good books, writing Android apps and web development projects, and having other adventures.
