Jay Manickam is an entrepreneur who has spent the last 13 years leading Austin consumer tech companies. While in graduate school at UT, he co-founded uShip, which is now the world's largest online transportation marketplace and is featured on the A&E hit reality show, Shipping Wars. A life-long music fan, in 2014, Jay co-founded Vulcan Gas Company, an Austin Chronicle award-winning live music venue on sixth street which was recently sold to new owners. Also in 2014, while at Burning Man, Jay co-founded Everfest, the world's festival authority, and now the largest festival site on the planet that connects all the players in the industry's eco-system including over 10,000 festivals of all genres and millions of attendees.
