Seattle
Jay-E has been working in sales and marketing for over 15 years. In the last 5 years, her career path has been diverted to the financial industry. But, no matter what industry she is in, she always carves out time to connect with college students and young professionals and to mentor them on professional development. Jay-E was involved in the mentorship program and served on the leadership team for the American Marketing Association, Puget Sound for many years.
She came to the U.S. as an immigrant who did not speak English and that didn’t stop her to become the first child in her family to attain a bachelor degree. Jay-E is now a mentor of UW CoMotion, a sustainability advocate, a runner, a soccer mom, a Girl Scout troop co-leader and a financial professional. Sometimes 24 hours does not seem to be enough for a day. But she enjoys every minute of it doing things that make her life fulfilled - helping people and learning new things.
