Growing up in LA’s skateboarding + punk scene, Waters got his start in the action sports industry before he fell in love with high-end fashion- working for DKNY, Ralph Lauren and Brooks Brothers. In 2013, armed with an affinity for tailored clothing and a stellar client list, he launched Waters Ateliers, a bespoke suit + shirtmaker. It’s not just custom suiting; it’s a whole curated experience with a one-on-one consultation. Everything is bespoke and one of one and his clients—pro athletes, musicians, surgeons, attorneys and entrepreneurs—know when a garment is specifically made for them, they are getting something that no one else has. On occasion, he releases limited collections of ready-to-wear American-made shirting, suiting and blazers.
