Data Science Immersive Instructor, General Assembly

Los Angeles

Jason fell in love with data while studying Computational Biology as a Graduate Student at Yale University. In graduate school he worked to better understand kidney cancer by analyzing genome sequence data. This work found a new sub-type of kidney cancer and was published in the New England Journal of Medicine. After almost three years in the lab he decided that the academic life was not for him and joined Banjo in Silicon Valley as one of their first Data Scientists.
