    Jasmine empowers the Customer Experience Insights and Operations Data Team at Gusto to provide advanced, predictive, and actionable analytics for Gusto’s customer experience organization.

    Before working with Gusto, Jasmine served for 13 years as a U.S. Army Officer, most recently as a data scientist at the Pentagon. Jasmine also spent 4 years as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Systems Engineering at West Point, directing courses in Engineering Statistics and Business Analytics. Her research included topics in STEM education, predictive analytics on veteran homelessness, and optimizing mission training needs for the U.S. Army’s Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) program. Before that, Jasmine served for 8 years as a U.S. Army Intelligence Officer, leading analyst teams to recover hostages in Iraq and directing operations with NATO, USAID, US Department of State, and foreign governments in Afghanistan.

    Jasmine was a recipient of the 2012 General Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award for her leadership in Afghanistan. Her research on STEM Education was published with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and she received the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal for her work. Jasmine received the 2014 John M. King Award for outstanding service to the veteran community. Her research and predictive analysis on veteran homelessness were recognized at the 2016 Kansas Capitol Graduate Research Summit. The Society for Industrial & Systems Engineering (SISE) published her work on optimizing mission training needs for the U.S. Army’s UAS program and awarded her article 2nd place at the 2017 General Donald R. Keith Memorial Capstone Conference.

    Jasmine holds a B.S. in Operations Research from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and an M.S. in Operations Research from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

    Jasmine currently lives in Centennial, CO with her husband, Venkat, son, Rama, and their two monster dogs, Sunny and Thomas.
