Jas Jackson earned her B.S. in Management Information Systems from Florida State University. There she had the opportunity to engage in projects while working in Australia and Spain. Post graduation, she quickly realized she was drawn to data, user research, and social impact, and decided to pick up R. Her diverse industry experiences range from advertising, sports (product, operations, and sales), and start-ups. Her most recent experience working with the Miami Heat as a Business Intelligence Engineer has prepped her to strategize efficient solutions from data collection to visualization. Currently, Jas is in the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics space, using her background in data visualization and data management to consult with startups in the Atlanta area that are new (2-3 years young) and assist them in understanding the data they generate.
