Jared Bauer
Jared is a filmmaker, screenwriter, and independent producer in Los Angeles, California. Jared is the writer and creator of hit web series including Thug Notes, 8-Bit Philosophy, Earthling Cinema, Pop Psych, and more. He previously produced Max Landis's internet short The Death and Return of Superman (2012), starring Elijah Wood, Mandy Moore, Elden Henson, Ron Howard, Sarah Shahi, and Simon Pegg. Jared also associate produced the pilot episode of The Bell Curve for Chris Rock Enterprises, which was ultimately picked up by FX Networks. Jared is a contributing film critic and writer for National Public Radio (NPR) and Overthinking It, and has also freelance produced content for Nerdist and Machinima. Jared is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Radio, Television, and Film.
