Jane Philipps is a Software Engineer at Pinterest and Bay Area native. She works on the Core Web Platform team, helping improve Pinterest's web infrastructure and building new features for web and mobile web. Before joining Pinterest, she was a Software Engineer at The Information and Eventbrite. Jane has a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Washington University in St. Louis and attended General Assembly's Web Development Immersive in 2015 to learn to code. She also runs a blog, Full-Stack Interviewing, providing resources for others from non-traditional backgrounds making the career shift into engineering.
