Jan Gaudestad is the US Director of Business Development at uSens where he is in charge of unearthing new opportunities for uSens’ hand and position tracking technology for augmented and virtual reality.
Before joining uSens in early 2016, Jan worked on strategic accounts for Tier 1 motion sensor customers at InvenSense, the motion tracking company. Before InvenSense he spent eight years at Neocera, a semiconductor equipment maker specializing in magnetic current imaging of microchips where his work focused on new business development, applications and worldwide customer support.
An avid runner and born in Norway, Jan received his MBA from Santa Clara University in 2009 specializing in mathematical finance and fixed income. He also holds Master’s degrees from the University of Maryland, College Park and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology specializing in applied superconductors Superconducting Quantum Physics respectively.
