Jamison is a senior software engineer in Capital One Investing's R&D group. His focus is on adopting new technology that can improve the quality of the applications being delivered. That can be obvious things like containerization and improved metrics, or seemingly "hard" things that new tools have simplified like distributed tracing or container orchestration. Focusing on backend and systems development, he is proficient in Go, C#, Java and SQL. Jamison started on the business operations side and after obtaining his Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses, moved into an engineering role.
