I am a data science professional, currently working as the manager for the Flight Centre data science team. Our team’s focus is to drive innovation and use robust machine learning methods to assist senior management with data driven decision making across various aspects of the business.
Having a background in Mechanical Engineering I have had the opportunity to apply my skill set across a number of domains, including resources and commercial, with each carrying their own technical challenges. Here at FCTG I have spent the majority of my time on the production and implementation of recommender systems and time series forecasting applications.
