Boston
I’m a 33 year old converted Bostonian currently living in the North End. I was born and raised in Huntington WV, and went to college at Duke University (Duke Class 2005, go Devils!) where I majored in Structural Engineering and got a Masters in Engineering Management. I also played baseball in college and in a number of amateur leagues around Boston over the last decade.
After finishing my Masters at Duke in 2006 I moved to Boston to work for a structural engineering firm. A year and a half into my structural engineering career I chose to leave the field to play poker professionally. I played poker for the next 7 years until I started at DraftKings in January of 2015. Over the past two years I’ve transitioned from focusing on Digital Marketing Analytics to International Marketing and Business Development Analytics, and was recently promoted to Manager of Acquisitions Marketing Analytics. Along the way I’ve worked with every part of the DraftKings team from product, development, legal, finance, customer service, marketing, etc. My job is to help problem solve using available data and frameworks to help DraftKings continue to provide the best product and experience in fantasy sports."
