Product Quality Engineer, Formlabs

Boston

Jake is new resident to New England, transplanting to the Boston area from Chicago. His prior work as a CNC Machinist led him to study Mechanical Engineering at University of Illinois at Chicago, where he spent much of his time studying product design and 3D printing in between classes. A rapid expertise in 3D printing landed him work in the original team behind the Dremel 3D printer during his time at Bosch. Jake now works for Formlabs as the Product Quality Engineer for Form 2, facilitating communication between the R&D, Manufacturing, and Services teams. Because he is not a design engineer at work, he keeps his design skills sharp at home by building cosplay props and teaching others to create things on his small YouTube channel.
