Jacklyn is a talented and passionate front end dev with experience across the stack including mobile working in the industry for 15 years getting her first programming job in her early teens. She has managed, lead, and contributed to projects and products of all types and sizes in many different environments and is a strong advocate and leader for education, empathy, diversity, accessibility, and inclusion. The combination of her exemplary business, product, design, and financial skills has allowed her to be successful across all aspects of the businesses she works with and have lots of empathy for the people she coaches and teaches.
Today she is working part-time with Scentre Group (Owner and Operator of Westfield Australian & New Zealand) and focusing the rest of her time on the joys of Tech Education, but in the past, she has taught many of General Assembly's classes and workshops and been the Lead Instructor for the Web Development Immersive course (now Software Development Immersive) and the part-time Mobile course when it was previously run.
