Jacalin is a multi-disciplinary creative problem solver, a business designer, an educator, a mentor, and a social entrepreneur.
Jac thinks like a business person, with the heart of a designer, her superpower is the ability to create and communicate across the lifecycle of a product, utilising Design Thinking methodology — from user research, opportunity definition, design, prototype, testing, marketing, refining design system to product retirement (or iteration!).
Through out her 15+ years experience as a designer/strategist, Jacalin has assisted start-ups, enterprises, media and digital product agencies to turn their biggest, wildest ideas into long-term viable products. She worked with companies from New York, Vancouver, Tokyo, Singapore and back home in Australia. Being multilingual also sees Jac working with companies across China and APAC, applying culturally inclusive technology and user experiences.
In 2020, Jacalin will continue to expand her passion of mentoring young professionals to tap into their full potential in this field. She’ll focus on working with purpose-driven businesses to maximise their impact by building the right team and product approach. Jac is in the process of planning her first book. Stay tuned.
