Irene is Director of Digital Product and Data at the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), Author of The AI Product Manager's Handbook, and Senior Editor & Writer of Presage Magazine, an NYC-based art and fashion magazine.
Prior to IWBI, Irene worked as an Operations Analyst at Tesla, a Data Scientist at Gesture, a Data Product Manager at Beekin, and led Product at Tenacity. Irene served as book club organizer and co-lead of the NYC chapter for Women in Data from 2019-2023, was a founding member of Advancing Trust in AI and organizer for a number of Women in AI events and programs including WaiACCELLERATE, WAI Hackathon, WAI Awards and past WaiTalks.
She holds a bachelor's in Economics and International Relations from Simmons University, has completed various MOOCs, a Big Data and Analytics certificate from MIT xPRO and an intensive Data Science program with Thinkful and has written articles for Data Driven Investor, Analytics Vidya, Towards Data Science, CodeX, An Injustice, MLearning.ai, Women in Data, Gesture Blog, Beekin Blog, AI for Peace, as well as her own Medium and LinkedIn profiles. Irene is based in NYC.
