India Pollard is a FinTech fanatic who’s been working in challenger banks since graduating from Warwick University. She has a passion for the future of money and in late 2017 had an NFC implanted in her hand to try and build a mechanism for cardless payments (spoiler alert, it’s still not working). She worked on aggressive customer growth campaigns for challenger bank Tandem, and is now a Product Marketer at Monzo Bank supporting the Savings and Investments team.
She's spent the last few years taking on the world of adult finances, between credit cards, ISAs, budgeting, and just feeling more in control of her money. The eldest daughter of two bankers, you'd think she'd have had a leg up on some of this stuff but some things are best learnt head on. She currently lives in Great Portland Street with her journalist boyfriend and cat Frankie. She likes to save money daily where she can (cycling everywhere and always bringing her own lunch) and spend it on big things like new tech and holidays. It's been a bit of a rollercoaster learning how to use credit responsibly, but she's now debt free and working towards some bigger savings goals.
