Ilysia Carlberg grew up an only child in a small town in the middle of the Allegheny National Forest in Pennsylvania. After finishing her Bachelor’s degree at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, Ilysia was anxious to try something foreign to her so, she packed up her car and her Yorkie, Willow and headed for the Windy City.
Since she first landed in Chicago, Ilysia has worked as an outside technical recruiter and is now working at Reviewtrackers and is the Talent & Culture Lead for the company. In her position, Ilysia not only manages a team of recruiters but, she is currently in the process of building out a D&I department as well as tieing the companies D&I initiatives into the recruitment process as well as the entire culture of the company.
In her spare time, Ilysia likes to camp, go for bike rides, eat Korean BBQ, photograph, and spend Sunday mornings having a cup of coffee with her boyfriend and puppy Willow.
