Huma is a Senior Initiative Designer at the Customer First Innovation Lab (C1) at Blue Cross Blue Shield and the Co-Founder of Ladies That UX Dallas. She is responsible for leading multi-disciplinary teams including designers, researchers, strategists, engineers, developers, architects and others to champion the initiatives while maintaining a member-centered approach. C1 Innovation Lab is leading the way in healthcare innovation through a Customer 1st culture where Design Thinking processes and user-centered design principles drive creative solutions to their client’s most challenging healthcare issues, empowering their members to live happier and healthier lives.
Over the course of her 20+ year career spanning the disciplines of UX Strategy, Information Design, Visual Design and Advertising, Huma has helped conceive and design solutions for multinational corporations to startups and is the recipient of industry awards. Huma holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree in Communication Design from University of North Texas where she graduated Cum Laude.
