Hugo Lamb is the Director of Operations and Strategy for Pop Union – a growing creative agency specialising in short term space. With a background in business development, Hugo is passionate about turning great ideas into sustainable and profit making initiatives.
Having set up his first business at the age of 23, Hugo has worked in the not-for-profit, social enterprise, e-commerce, marketing, and business sectors – constantly intrigued by the specific opportunities and challenges that each industry presents.
Thanks to a dynamic relationship with his business partner Bec McHenry, Hugo has been able to realise a number of personal projects including The Projection Room, Policy Booth, and most recently Pop Union. Each of these initiatives has sought to offer a ‘creative solution to a strategic problem’ and combine researched data and analytics with creative problem solving.
As the pop up movement continues to grow in Australia, Hugo is busy designing brand strategies and new business ideas that prove that pop up is more than just a short-term trend, it is a long-term trade.
