Hou Chia is a software engineer and educator with expertise in full-stack JavaScript development, Ruby on Rails, and AWS. Hou is passionate about technology education and currently serves as a Lead Instructor at Product School, where his students describe him as an excellent communicator who does not stop explaining a concept until they all have it down. Hou is also a technical interview mentor, having conducted over 280+ mock technical interviews with hundreds of 5-star reviews. He also provides technical advising and mentorship to startups. Hou graduated from Princeton University in 2011 and attended Hack Reactor for his coding education. In his spare time, he enjoys dance, yoga, and eating spicy foods.
