Hillary Garris

Hillary Garris is currently an Operating Partner and Interim Executive for venture capital investors and their portfolio companies. Her areas of expertise include capital raising, market and strategic research, and organizational development. She began her career researching and investing in technology and energy companies at ING, Oaktree Capital, and Oppenheimer & Co. Later she joined the corporate finance team at AB InBev, a global fortune 500 company, where she developed her ownership and entrepreneurial mindset as an operator. She helped pilot, instruct, and develop General Assembly’s Business Fundamentals and Tactics course in partnership with McKinsey & Co., the course was recently profiled in the Wall Street Journal. Hillary has an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS from Lehigh University.
