With a background in computer science and business, Herold has worked in a range of engaging roles around social impact, technical consulting and business development. His work in social impact began with international humanitarian projects in Guatemala and most recently with the Conservation Fund. There he helped develop strategies around combating food deserts in NC and helped lead a summer shark tank program for impoverished communities in rural Eastern NC. As part of Google Fibers Community Leadership Program he enabled small businesses in the Durham community to use Google’s suite of business tools to get their business digitally enabled; particularly focusing on Google analytics. Before joining Mini City he worked as technical engineer on multiple multi-million dollar telecom and cloud implementation projects with Cisco, NCCU and Wells Fargo. He also has experience in statistics and decision sciences with a certification in Advanced Statistical Methods from SAS’s Global Academic Program. He has more recently focused on honing his skills in project management, SDLC methodologies and database management. He currently assists Mini City with refining processes, validating additional customer segments and overseeing technical development.
