As the Head of Red Hat Asia Pacific Marketing, Helen Kim is an engaged and passionate leader whose role is to deliver on the vision of sustained growth and empower her people and the organization to achieve its goals. She is responsible for improving awareness of Red Hat’s brand, open source technology leadership and differentiated portfolio as well as for generating demand for Red Hat's products and services. She and her team have achieved key milestones in winning the hearts and minds of customers through demand generation, digital and social marketing, account-based marketing, martech operations, market development, corporate communications and ecosystem marketing.
Before joining Red Hat 6 years ago, Helen worked at IBM in marketing leadership roles based in North America, the Middle East and Africa and Asia Pacific. Prior to IBM she worked in both China and Europe for technology companies.
Helen is deeply committed to Red Hat, the company values of freedom, meritocracy, accountability and courage and supporting greater open source awareness.
