Heidi started her career at Waggener Edstrom in Seattle, working in PR for Microsoft, and later transitioned into a new role, which was just starting to make its way into the industry – an internet strategist. The Internet was new and presented an exciting opportunity to discover and explore in ways that hadn’t been possible before, it was a truly unique time. During this time, Heidi was often asked to be part of the panel that interviewed candidates for the agency and found that she really enjoyed connecting Talent with opportunities that not only helped them grow and develop, but also added dimension and diversity to teams and projects.
Discovering her interest and passion around talent and creating interesting and effective teams, Heidi started her own consultancy where she worked across creative, home entertainment and digital shops to create highly collaborative and productive teams. It was during one of these projects that she connected with Dailey and was offered the role of leading the HR practice there.
In her seven years at Dailey, Heidi and the leadership team grew the digital and social capabilities of the agency, created a robust and profitable production arm, and most recently negotiated and managed the divestiture of the agency from Interpublic to regain their status as an Independent shop.
Heidi joined Ogilvy in the Spring and is excited to be part of an organization with such a strong and storied legacy that is focused on developing and retaining the impressive people and teams we have, while attracting great new talent with unique voices and perspective in the days and years to come at a global level.
