Heather is a founder of Candidly.com, a consumer marketplace for event photography where she currently runs product and operations. The last 8 years of her career have been focused on product management, including a 5 year stint at RetailMeNot before she decided to pursue a more entrepreneurial focus.
Heather is passionate about developing the next generation of women and people of color product managers as she believes building products for all the people requires diverse representation and thinking in product design, management, and engineering.
She entered the start-up scene in 2008 at Bazaarvoice, where she had privilege to learn from a stellar executive team who led the company to an IPO. When she isn't leading a team of engineers and designers or managing stakeholder expectations, she is spending time at home with her 4 year old daughter, husband and 2 dogs.
