Haylee Ham

Haylee is a data scientist at the Laboratory for Innovation Science at Harvard and the organizer of the Boston chapter of Women in Machine Learning and Data Science. She gets to work on a lot of fun projects at the lab focusing on innovation. Some of her current projects include studying entrepreneurship using job vacancies data, crowdsourcing contests using submitted source code, and gender dynamics of innovation using patent data.

Haylee is especially interested in natural language processing, data visualization, and, in general, building things. She has a master's degree in computational social science from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree in economics from Brigham Young University.
