Hannah Ma leads the Business Team at Propel, which builds technology for low-income Americans; their app, Fresh EBT, is used by over 1 million Americans each month to manage their government benefits, find ways to save, and explore employment opportunities. Propel is a for-profit tech company and is backed by leading investors such as a16z and the Omidyar Network. Prior to Propel, Hannah worked at Walmart (piloting primary care clinics within Walmart stores), the National Health Service, and McKinsey.
