Hannah Joy Gebresilassie is an award-winning journalist, media personality and entrepreneur hailing from Atlanta, GA. She has a strong background working in the sports industry with organizations including the Georgia Tech women’s basketball team, Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Dream, Chicago Bears, IMG College, WBCA and the Big Ten Network. In 2018, she transitioned from working as a general assignment TV Reporter to launching her own media platform, HannahJoyTV. Her mission is to share uplifting content and promote positivity worldwide. As the daughter of Ethiopian and Eritrean immigrants, she also created a brand inspired by peace initiatives between the two countries and donates 10% of profits to the youth. Hannah is a proud alumnus of Georgia State University, Georgia Tech and Northwestern University, holding a bachelor’s in business administration and master’s in journalism.
