Hagen Wenzek is the Chief Innovation Officer and co-founder of CorporateHealth, a company that strives to bring innovative medical technology to scale by leveraging services and IT. There is too much medical innovation that never makes it to the patient, because its application does not match the clinical needs, such as capsule endoscopy for colorectal cancer risk assessment. Hagen leads digital strategy, implementation, R&D and finances for CorporateHealth to change that status quo. Besides this mission, he is also advising companies in marketing and media on ad-tech related strategies as principal of Freestyle Consulting and serves on the advisory board for a number of exciting start-ups along the Northeast. Back in a corporate life, Hagen was the CTO of IPG Mediabrands and a long-term strategist and consultant with IBM. He has a PhD and Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering and as a Triathlete tries to match his business challenges with some in sports.
